Our team, the largest and most experienced in Argentina, is composed of a group of highly talented full-time dedicated professionals.
Mr. Menéndez joined Infupa in 1993 as an M&A Associate and he became Partner of the firm in 1997. Previously, Mr. Menéndez served as planning analyst at Disprofarma (Pharmaceutics) and as commercial planning analyst for the Techint Group at Siderar and Siderca (Steel Products). Currently Carlos is a regular professor of Corporate Finance in the Postgraduate School of the Catholic University of Argentina. Mr. Menéndez holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Mr. Solanet joined Infupa in 1997. Since then, he advised a very diverse scope of clients including banking, energy, food & beverages, and real estate. Previously, he worked for Sociedad Comercial del Plata (SCP), acting as Planning Manager at Tren de la Costa, and as Project Manager at Del Plata Propiedades. Mr. Solanet was also part of the corporate development area of SCP, where he participated in the acquisition of several privatized companies. Manuel also worked in New York, as part of the Dillon, Read & Co. Corporate Finance department. Mr. Solanet holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, USA.
Mr. Patrón Costas joined Infupa in 2020. For 8 years he worked for Bank Boston in different areas of Retail Banking. In 1995, he joined Banco Río de la Plata, which was later acquired by Banco Santander. There, he led teams in the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets departments, to ultimately serve as Head of the Investment Banking and Capital Markets Division. He was also in charge of the corporate debt restructuring of Banco Santander Río during the 2001-2002 crisis (+ USD 1,500 MM) and led teams that participated in the structuring of the facilities for the exit of the Default of Argentina in 2016. Mr. Patrón Costas holds a BA degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and pursued postgraduate studies in Universidad Pontificia Comillas and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain).
Mr. Gudiño joined Infupa in 2001. His experience at the firm includes M&A, debt restructuring, and corporate finance advisory, having worked with clients in a wide range of industries. Previously, he worked as Planning and Finance Analyst at Transportadora de Gas del Norte. Mr. Gudiño holds a BA degree in Economics from Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), and a Master of Business Administration from The Stern School of Business of New York University (NYU).
Mr. Bronenberg joined Infupa in 2010, becoming Partner in 2016. His experience at the firm includes M&A and corporate finance advisory, having worked with clients in a wide range of industries including financial services, FMCG, insurance, agribusiness, and real estate, among others. During 2020-2021, Mr. Bronenberg has worked in Sydney as a Strategy and M&A Advisor at Lion, a leading beverages company in Australasia, supporting acquisitions to drive transformational growth and the setting of its global strategy. Mr. Bronenberg holds a BA degree in Business Economics from Universidad Torcuato di Tella, and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM – Sydney)
Mrs. Barassi joined Infupa in 1991. Previously, she worked for Banco General de Negocios as an Investment Project Analyst for the International Finance Corporation (IFC), for IVA SACIFI as a Product and New Business Analyst, and for Cintoplóm S.A. as a Cost and Budget Analyst. Mrs. Barassi participated in several M&A transactions and debt restructuring processes in the food & beverages, construction materials, and retail industries. Mrs. Barassi holds Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).
Mr. Solanet is Co-Founder of Infupa and has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development since its inception in 1982. He served as Chairman of the firm until December 2010, and is still an active participant in the company’s decisions as a Counselor. Mr. Solanet has participated in more than 400 M&A processes. In addition, Mr. Solanet is Academic Counselor of FIEL, a foundation for Latin American Economic Research. He was Secretary for the Modernization of the State (2001), Secretary of Finance (1981/82) and Director of the National Institute of Economic Planning (1977/1981). Previously, Mr. Solanet was advisor to the Minister of Economy in the field of Public Works (1967/68) and to the National Counsel of Development (1969/67). He has also been advisor to the World Bank and private consultant in the economic field. Mr. Solanet holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and pursued postgraduate studies in Economic Planning and Transportation Programming. He is an academic member of the National Academy of Engineering and of the National Academy of Ethics and Political Sciences.
